The leaves of the Woolly Senecio are pointed at both ends but thick in the middle. The leaves have a thick layer of white tomenta on their surface which gives them a silky satin-like feel. After rain or watering the leaves become transparent,and the plant takes on its original green color, returning to white after it dries.
